ABOUT ME
I began working at the age of 16 and became Manager of my first store at 19. I realized I had strong skills in customer service and management early on. I took this as a life guide and devoted another 8 years to working retail and customer service jobs; continuing to work my way up to Team Lead and Inventory Management positions. I was working 2-3 jobs at a time, feeling stuck and with a lack of challenge in my work. With support from my partner, I took a chance and began my academic journey. Despite many challenges along the way, I graduated Cum Laude from Central Washington University; graduating with a bachelor of science in Apparel, Textile & Merchandising (ATM), and a minor in Apparel Design, in 2019.

If I've learned anything in my professional experiences, I know that some of the best results come from the most difficult challenges. I show an eagerness in my work to understand these difficulties. Every challenge is an opportunity to examine how the process is being done, and how to identify possible improvements. I take initiative during time-sensitive tasks and know the importance of acting in the moment; utilizing my analytic skills to review high volumes of data quickly.

I am knowledgeable in both Adobe software programs - Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. I am trained in industry level skills such as Buying and Negotiations, Technical Design, Visual Merchandising, and Apparel Design to name a few.

I have a strong interest in sustainable agriculture, hemp production and textile (wool) production. I hope to continue research in these areas in a Supply Chain graduate program.
